A highly success Brazilian Open for the Disabled staged in the Federal capital city of Brazil at an end and the medal ceremonies concluded on Monday 30th November 2009, Alaora Azevedo, the President of the Brazilian Table Tennios Confederation, paid tribute to one of the competitors, Emeric Martin of France
It was not that the Paralympic medalist had performed great heroics at the tournament in Brazil, it was quite simply to express thanks.
Emeric Martin is the President of the French club Bayard Argentan the club where Brazilians: Thiago Monteiro, Gustavo Tsuboi and Cazuo Matsumoto all practice.
Five Years
The French club has been the home for the leading Brazilian players for five years; the agreement between the two organization has proved most successful and that successful co-operation would appear set to continue.
